which point lie to the left of the y axis
and if possible can you please explain what do they mean by "left of the y axis"? :-)​

• left to the y axis means Quadrant II which has points of (-,+)

u can find easily without diagram but I draw just to make u clear ._.

point A lies on line x

point B lies in 3rd quadrant

point C lies in 3rd quadrant too

point D lies in 2nd quadrant

point E lies on line x

point F lies in on line y

where u can see which point lies on 2nd quadrant , it's point D

so , point D lies on left to y axis

and simplest trick to learn just remember all signs of every Quadrant and its order
