Which points on this vertical number line best represent the locations of 2.5 and -3/2.

A (G and J)

B (G and K).

In graph ( Refer to the attachment) 0 is the origin. Above 0 represents positive values and below 0 is negative values

Now the middle point of 2 and 3 is

 \displaystyle \sf{ =  \frac{2 + 3}{2} }

 \displaystyle \sf{ =  \frac{5}{2} }

 = 2.5

The point G represents the value 2.5

Again the middle point of - 1 & - 2 is

 \displaystyle \sf{ =  \frac{ - 1 - 2}{2} }

 \displaystyle \sf{ =  \frac{ - 3}{2} }

Which is represented by the point J

Hence the correct option is A (G and J)
