The frontal lobe controls/limits emotions, containing most of the dopamine-sensitive neurons. Or, better put, it is in control of decision making in response to emotions.
The limbic system, located in the temporal lobe, "produces" emotions. One part of the limbic system is the amygdala (part of the "reptile brain"), which is the core of emotional processing.
