Gaba is a subcaste of Aroras,in classical Punjabi it means a “calf”, before the partition of subcontinent K L Gaba became very famous in Lahore,he was elected the member of Punjab Legislative Assembly.when he was the follower of Hinduism his name was Kinhiya Lal Gaba but after conversion to Islam he was known as Khalid Latif Gaba, he wrote a book about the prophet Muhammad(peace be upon him) “ The Prophet of Desert”.
