Boyle’s Law

‘The absolute pressure exerted by a given mass of an ideal gas is inversely proportional to the volume it occupies if both the temperature and amount of gas remain unchanged’.

P ∝ 1/V

where P=  Pressure of the gas; V=Volume of the gas;it means that both pressure and volume of a given mass of gas are inversely proportional to each other at a constant temperature.
