1.The first and second estate included the clergy and nobility, which enjoyed certain privilages by birth.
2. This included exemption from taxes,which was a big burden on the third estate.These taxes were collected by both the church and the state in the form of taille and tites.
3.Another privilage enjoyed by these two estates was in the form of favours from the third estate,known as feudal dues, which included services rendered to lords of both estates. Working in farms, providing labour etc. were some forms of feudal dues extracted by the two estates.
