As an avid reader of your newspaper, I always admire the way you take up social and political issues in the hopes of raising awareness and creating change in the country.
In this regard I wanted to bring to your attention the problems being created in Mandir Colony, Noida, where I live. In our colony, roadside vendors have set up tens of their carts, selling fruit, meat, vegetables and completely blocking the pavements for pedestrians and sometimes even the road. The local police has not taken any action since years now and I feel the situation is only getting worse as these vendors have been polluting pavements and it has even lead to an increase in crime.
