which problems will arise if there is either increase or decrease in number of any component of Food Chain and Food Web? P.S a short ans plz

let me give you two examples -

1) If tigers in a forest increase then the population of deer would decrease and reducing deer population will lead to the starvation of tigers who will die afterwards.

2) If the population of tigers in a forest decrease then the deer population would increase. the deer would eat up all the grass and afterwards they will starve to death.

therefore in the given examples it is understood that both increase and decrease in any population would lead to disturbance in food webs and chains.
