After deep sleep, your brain starts to perk up, and its electrical activity starts to resemble the brain when it is awake.

This is the period of the night when most dreams happen.

In this stage of sleeping our eye lids are moving and your lucid dreams occur at this stage and your heart rate and respiration increases.

Her is your answer

ANS :- 1) Nearly all significant physiological process occurs during sound

sleep. However our breathing pattern changes. And extra oxygen is

supplied to the muscles of our body.

           2) Also, certain physiological activities of the body are slowed down

during sound sleep. For e.g., kidney functions are slowed and the

           production of urine decreases.

3)During sound sleep (deep sleep) our body is recharged and also

injuries which are get hurt at the day heals in the night.
