The first Beggining digestion takes place in Buccal Cavity by the secretion of saliva from salivary glands and the final digestion takes place in the small intestine,the purpose of the small intestine is to finish digestion and absorb nutrients and then it goes to Large intestine where only absorbation of water takes place.
