CO2 dissolves in water, and some of it reacts with watet molecules to produce a slightly acid solution called carbonic acid. The (aq) indicates water solution . The hydrogen carbonate compound cannot be isolated as a pure substance - it decomposes easily to produce watet and CO2 gas.
