Which property of carbon dioxide is applied in extinguishing fire. pls it is really important (wrong ans will be reported).​

When fire extinguisher is used, it emits carbon dioxide, which forms a layer upon the fire and stops oxygen contact, which helps in extinguishing fire as fire needs oxygen to burn
