MULTICELLULAR ORGANISMS

-it consists of a large no. of cell

-A single cell performs one or few activities

-There is division of labour as cells are specialized to perform different functions of the body

-only germ cells take part in reproduction

UNICELLULAR ORGANISMS

-It consists of a single cell

-the single cell performs all the life activities

-there is no division of labour as the single cell performs all the activites

-single cell is involved in the production of new organisms during reproduction.
