the following prudential reasons make power sharing desirable :

1. Power sharing prevents conflict among people as each community has equal power and share the same rights.

2. Power sharing ensures stability to the country. Both the majority and minority communities contribute to the government and can act on their interests.

3. Power sharing prevents the tyranny ( or domination ) of the majority. the domination of the majority in a country may seem to be simpler and efficient but the undermines the unity of the country.
