Explanation:

A neutralization reaction is when an acid and a base react to form water and a salt and involves the combination of H+ ions and OH- ions to generate water. The neutralization of a strong acid and strong base has a pH equal to 7.

Answer:

When an acid and a base reacts it invariably gives salt and water and is called neutralisation In neutralisation reaction ,one H+ ion of acid is neutralised by one OH- ion of base .When all H+ions in acidic solution are neutralised by the same number if OH- ions of basic solution ,it is called complete neutralisation .The relative amounts of base and acid required depends upon the total number of H+ ion and OH- ions produce respective molecule of acid and base .

For example: HCL+NaCl =NaCl(salt) +H2O(water)
