which reference books should i buy for class 10 maths and science? What about NCERT Exemplar, why don't the school teachers recemmond it ?

For class 10 ---- For Mathematics ----- R . D . Sharma and R.S AGARWAL For Science ------- S . chand ( Lakhmir Singh) , PRADEEP. They don't prefer NCERT Examplar because I think they have also have solutions of Ncert Books and is also not vast on education.
