The reformers from other countries have served for the cause of Indian society :

i) ‘Annie Besant’ was a British socialist, ‘women's rights activist’, writer, and social reformer and well known for her struggle in Ireland for home rule. She was a well-known freedom fighter in India's independence struggle.  

ii) Mother Teresa was a ‘Roman Catholic nun’ and was an Albanian missionary who lived for eighteen years in Skopje and then went to Ireland and thereafter she came to India.
