ocean and other water bodies contain the greatest variety of living beings. 

it contain marine animals from small fishes to the largest blue whale.
 
water bodies contains more number of creatures than all the land mass together.

I think the ocean and water bodies of the earth has the greatest variety of living beings as compare to the land.

It is because , the number of marine species is more than the the number of species living on land.
It can contain from the smallest to fish to the largest animal of the whole world.
