"The South region of Brazil has a temperate type of climate.

The temperate climate is the climate where there is neither extreme temperature nor rainfall or snow. The changes between summer and winter are brisk without being extreme.

The temperate climate is of two types: Maritime Climate and Continental Climate. The ocean is the prime influencer of the maritime climate.  In this climate, the temperature is quite static throughout all seasons.

The temperate climate is also known as the tepid climate. Western Europe and western North America are amid the few regions which experience maritime climate.
