It is well known that the Asian continent is densely populated than any other region on the earth.  

Here I have proposed some important reasons for the population boom in Asian region.

• Civilization started earlier in this region like Africa.
• River plains and Himalayas are playing a crucial role in protecting the population of this region.  
• Most of the population in this region mainly depend of agriculture for food and economy and the supports from the rivers that originating from the Himalayan region and other parts of the continent are kept boosting their dependence on agriculture.
• Versatile climate conditions
• Culture and tradition that teaches children are gifts from god.
• Tradition that supports large families

Southeast Asian countries with high population are Indonesia, Philippines, vietnam, China, India, etc. These countries are highly populated because of the suitable climatic condition, good medication facilities which help in increasing the life span of people and thus increasing the population of the place.
