Answer:

Din-i-Ilahi was propounded by Akbar.

More informations:

  • Born as Jalal-ud-din Muhammad, Akbar was son of the second Mughal Emperor Humayun and father of Jahangir.
  • Akbar came to power as a teenager at the age of fourteen. However his general Bairam Khan helped him taking in charge of the Empire.
  • Akbar was a man of policy. To win more kingdoms, on one hand he fought and on other hand, he made truce with others.
  • Akbar had a different belief in religion. He understood that religious courtiers are blameful to each others religion. This is why he thought of a peaceful religion which will exclude the so-called blame games. For that he propounded a new religious view in Din-i-Ilahi.
