If we see the era of Mughal emperor Akbar we would come to know that how did he bring close the communities to each other. He introduced a religion named Deen-e-Elahi in which the concepts of Hinduism and Islam were mixed. Its purpose was to bring the Hindus and Muslims together. Since these were the two major religions in the Indian Subcontinent so ruling a large population belonging to different religions would become easy for the Emperor.
