quadratic equation :- quadratic equation is a polynomial equation of degree two. or you can say that quadratic equation is in the form of ax² + bx + c = 0, where a ≠ 0 and a , b, c belongs to real numbers.

question is ----> Which represents a quadratic function?
(1)f(x) = −8x3 − 16x2 − 4x
(2)f(x) = x2 + 2x − 5
(3)f(x) = + 1
(4)f(x) = 0x2 − 9x + 7

only option (2) is satisfied the condition of quadratic equation { e.g., it should be in the form of ax² + bx + c , a ≠ 0 }
hence, option (2) is correct.
