In nonrelativistic classical mechanics, a closed system is a physical system that doesn't exchange any matter with its surroundings, and isn't subject to any net force whose source is external to the system. A closed system in classical mechanics would be considered an isolated system in thermodynamics. An isolated system does not exchange energy or matter with its surroundings.

The Earth represents a system that is almost completely closed for matter. Because Earth is made up of different types of chemical reactions or elements. So in the Earrth gravity, matter these are the closed box, they don't leave the system of their process. Also the isolated system doesn't change their process. They are also completely closed.
Classical mechanic system is also a closed system.
