Robert Frost chose the second road which was less frequented by the travellers, perhaps in the hope of better revenge. Also this could be possible that he like adventurous things that's why he chose something different from what other chose.

The poet was facing a problem in choosing which path to follow. He was in a dilemma on whether to walk on the path which had already been tread upon by many people or to take the road which is undiscovered and untouched. Therefore he took the road less travelled by people. He choose the road which was a bit risky and promised him adventures. He loved facing chanllenges.
