The speaker of the poem “The Road Not Taken” took the second road which was hardly used by others. He chose the road which was covered with grass by keeping first one reserved for some other day. But there lies the curiosity of the road not taken since it is impossible to take both the roads at the same time. It is the nature of human beings to regret upon what they have not done. The speaker while travelling contemplate/regret and felt sad upon the fact that he could not travel both roads at the same time ,thus missed the sight or experience which he could not seen of feel.
