That is right hand thumb rule

It is used in generator

Rule used is-Right hand thumb rule'. (ii) Fleming's left hand rule is used to find the direction of force experienced by a current carrying straight conductor, when placed in a magnetic field, which is perpendicular to it.

the rule stated here is the flemings right hand rule

FLEMINGS RIGHT HAND RULE:

it states that ,if we streach the fore finger, middle finger and thumb finger in such a way that they are perpendicular to each other then the direction of the thumb finger would show the direction of motion or movement of the conductor and the direction of the fore finger will show the direction of magnetic field and the direction of the middle finger will shoe the direction of current flowing throught the conductor

this rule is mainly used in generators to find the direction current

HOPE MY ANSWER WAS HELPFUL
