In the year 2018 april the paradesh government  by uttar launched a scheme which main aim of luanching was to come up with greencovers and they were to be used to cover the water catchment areas of the great river of Ganga which has had problems with the catchment areas because of the lack of the cover in theareas resulting to soil erosion . Soil ersion in these places have resulted  as aresult  of the plants being cut down causing soil erosion in the place . The government saw that the great river was going  to become distinct and decided to come up with greencovers.
