SECONDARY STORAGE DEVICE

A secondary storage device is a device which is used as an external memory for computers or devices. It is a non-volatile memory, which means that the data will not get deleted if there is power supply cut. It can only be deleted or managed manually.

Secondary storage device which requires a USB port to access is called a pen drive. Generally pen drives are used as an external memory but we can also access SD cards through card readers in the USB port to access it.
