The correct answer is option D.

I don't think there is another option suitable.

The hyphen can be placed only after the sentence.

If see this question carefully, we will find that the first three options, i.e., A, B and C the hyphen is placed in between of the sentences.

It is only in the sentence D that the hyphen is placed after a sentence after it.
