Under exclusive series, the upper limit is excluded.

  • An arrangement where the upper limit of one class turns into the lower furthest reaches of the succeeding class span is called an exclusive arrangement.
  • In such an arrangement, the frequencies of as far as possible are remembered for that specific class while the frequencies of as far as possible are rejected.
  • For example - 0-4, 4-8, 8-10 is exclusive series, here the upper limit of one class becomes the lower of the next class interval.
