Since, the formulae of the wave number of the line series is know and which is : 1/wavelength = Rh ( 1/n1^2 —1/n2^2).

And also we know that the energy is having the formulae E=hc/wavelength ,

Now we know that the energy to be maximum we need the value of the 1/wavelength or the wave number to be maximum.

Since, the value of the 1/wavelength is maximum for the first line of Lyman series, in which the value of n1=1 and n2=infinity . Correspondingly the first line of the Lyman here will have the maximum value of the energy.
