These Indian states in order from East to West are Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Meghalaya in north east; Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal and Sikkim in northern planes; Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand in extreme north; Rajasthan and Gujarat in west.
