Which should require a greater force to accelerating a 3kg mass at 4metre per second square or a 5kg mass at 2metre per second square ?ncert solution in science

force=mass×accelaration.

1)f=3×4=12kg m/s2
2)f=5×2=10kg m/s2


1st one would require a greater force

# Mass of first object (M1)=3 kg

Acceleration of first object (A1)=4m/s²

Force produce by first object is = M1×A1= 12 N

# Mass of second object (M2)=5kg

Acceleration of second object (A2)= 2 m/s²

Force produce by second object = M2×A2 = 10N

By seeing both the case you can easily find that first object can produce more force as compare to second ...ANSWER
