Hi ,
Equation of the line whose slope is
m and passing through the
point ( x1 , y1 ) is
y - y1 = m ( x - x1 )
Here ,
m = 4 ,
point ( x1 , y1 ) = ( 4 , 6 )
y - 6 = 4 ( x - 4 )
y - 6 = 4x - 16
y = 4x - 16 + 6
y = 4x - 10
y = 4x + ( -10 )
[ y = mx + c slope ( m ) , y intercept = c
Form ]
m = 4 ,
y - intercept = c = -10
I hope this helps you.
