In radio communications, single-sideband modulation (SSB) or single-sideband suppressed-carrier modulation (SSB-SC) is a type of modulation, used to transmitinformation, an audio signal, by radio waves.

Answer:         Either Upper or Lower

Explanation:

It depends on which side-band you suppress

For Eg: if lower side band is given by :Fc -Fm

                                   and

upper side band is given by : Fc +Fm

that means I'm suppressing lower side-band and transmitting upper side-band

Like wise we can suppress upper side-band and transmit lower side-band too
