FLAGELLUM ..... Bacteria are now classified as prokaryotes. Unlike cells of animals and other eukaryotes, bacterial cells do not contain a nucleus and rarely harbour membrane-bound organelles. Most have a cell wall. They do have DNA, and their biochemistry is basically the same as other living things.
