Bulb can glow in acidic media, because of ions presence in them showing the flow of current through them. Acids contains H+ ions as cation and anion. For eg:Dillute Hydrochloric acid (HCL), Sulfuric acid (H2SO4),NO3- in HNO3,CH3COO- in CH3COOH and many other.
