As rest of other states in India have a common constitution and the constitutional assembly but the state of Jammu and Kashmir have a separate constitution and the constitutional assembly and this was due to the instrument of accession which was signed in October 26 1947 by the maharaja Hari Singh to join with the India …

and any amendment made in the Constitution will not have any effect in the state of Jammu and Kashmir constitution because J&K have a separate constitutional assembly of its own ……..also any act or law passed by the parliament of India will not been applicable to the state of Jammu and Kashmir except with the approval or order of the president of India but with the consultation of the state government of the state ..Article 370 which gives the state a special status ……
