A. Jharkhand. On 12 February 2019, the Jharkhand government banned the Popular Front of India (PFI) proclaiming it to be an anti-national organisation and one that has links with the ISIS of Syria.

As per the government order, the organisation was banned with immediate effect according to the Criminal Law (Amendment) Act, 1908.

The order further states that being a member of PFI, providing any sort of donation or possessing literatures of its policies and even getting them published is illegal.
