Answer:

Answer: Any matter that is a solid has a definite shape and a definite volume. ... Although the molecules can still vibrate, they cannot move from one part of the solid to another part. As a result, a solid does not easily change its shape or its volume.

Answer:

state. solid. liquid. gases.

shape. cannot. can. can

volume. cannot. cannot. can

Explanation:

solids can neither change their shape nor volume. The reason is the molecules of solids have strong intermolecular force of attraction ND weak intermolecular space.

liquid takes the shape of the container in which it is kept . eg: 80 ml water will acquire different shapes in boul or bottle, etc. But the quantity "80 ml "will never change. it will remain 80 ml either putted in boul or bottle.

gases neither have strong force of attraction nor intermolecular space . this is the reason why their volume ND shape differs in different forms /container.
