An object isn't necessarily heated to a plasma when it falls into a black hole. With quasars matter spirals down towards the event horizon so both it's speed and density increases, but this doesn't heat it directly.

The Black Hole is the specific body present in universe. It don't have any specific State of matter. But if possible then it would be solid or gaseous.
