Option C is more apt for above question.
The Stono Rebellion was a slave uprising in September, 1739 in South Carolina, United States, which was then a colony.
It led to the enactment by the State, of the Negro Act of 1740. This Act banned slave assembly, their movement and education. It also imposed a 10 years moratorium on import of slaves from Africa. It set up penalties against slave owners, for ill-treatment of slaves.
