Atom is the smallest particle of the netter which consists of nucleus embedded in it centre containing protons and neutrons that together makes up the mass of an atom and has shells revolving around nucleus with electrons embedded in it.nucleus have no charge on it and protons have positive charge whereas the electrons have the negative charge on them
