Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

F ( x ) = 4 x^7 + 40 x^6 + 100 x^5 = 4 x^5 (  x² + 10 x + 25 )

4 x^5 = 0    ⇒   x = 0

x² + 10 x + 25 = 0

( x + 5 )² = 0  ⇒  x =-5

Answer: The graph crosses the x-axis at x = 0 and touches x- axis at x = -5

Statements

The graph crosses the x axis at x = 0 and touches the x axis at x = 5.

The graph touches the x axis at x = 0 and crosses the x axis at x = 5.

The graph crosses the x axis at x = 0 and touches the x axis at x = –5.

The graph touches the x axis at x = 0 and crosses the x axis at x = –5.

Answer:

It eill cut x axis at x=0 and x=-5 at x axis

Step-by-step explanation:

The given equation is

4x^{7} + 40x^{6}+100x^{5}                      ..........(i)

Taking 4x^{5} common from equation (i)

= 4x^{5}(x^{2}+10x+25)

Now In trignometry we know that tHis equation will have a solution if they will be equal to zero

so

putting those equal to zero

4x^{5} = 0       or       x^{2}+10x+25=0

x=0                  or      x^{2}+10x+25=0 ...........(ii)

Mid term breaking of equation (ii)

x^{2}+5x+5x+25=0

x(x+5)+5(x+5)=0

(x+5)(x+5)=0

this will gives us

x+5=0

and x=-5

so the solution we will get is x= 0 and x= -5

So from this equation and solution we find out that the function will cut x axis at x=0 and x= -5
