 Given \: A \: line \: has \: A,K,B\:and \: T .

 The \: distance \: from \: A \:to \: B = 10

 The \: distance \: from \: K \:to \: B = 5

 The \: distance \: from \: B \:to \: T = 4

 K \: is \: the \: midpoint \: of \: KT \: and \\B \: is \: the \: midpoint \: of \: KT

 i) AK = BT \: \red{ ( False ) }

 \blue {( \because AK = 5 \: and \: BT = 4 ) }

 ii) AB = KT \: \red{ ( False ) }

 \blue { (\because AB = 10 \: and \: KT = 9 ) }

Which statement is true about the diagram? A line has points A, K, B, T. The distance from A to B is 10, the distance from K to B is 5, and the distance from B to T is 4. K is the midpoint of AB.B is the midpoint of KT. AK = BT AB = KT.

\huge\underbrace\mathtt{ANSWER}

See the diagram first,

AB = 10

KB = 5

BT = 4

Since, AB = AK + KB, you have that 10 = AK + 5,

AK = 10-5=5. It means that AK = KB = 5 is the midpoint of AB.(1ST OPTION IS CORRECT)

Also KB = 5, BT = 4, Then B is not The midpoint of KT and KB= BT.(2ND OPTION IS INCORRECT)

AK = KB and KB = BT, Then AK = BT (3RD OPTION IS INCORRECT)

AB = 10 and KT = KB + BT = 5 + 4 =9 THAN AB = KT (4TH OPTION IS INCORRECT)
