Thing are common in both Division

That they are occurs only in reproductive cell .

Division of cell into other cell is known as cell division.

The cell which is divided that is called parent cell and the cell which are formed after division called daughter cell.

Types of cell division

1. Mitotic division - this division was first used by W. Flemming in 1882.

In this daughter cells have the same number of chromosome are present in parent or mother cell.

2. Meiotic division - this was 1st used by Farmer and Moore in 1905.

A diploid cell gives rise to four haploid cell. That has the half no. Of chromosome from the parent cell.
