In bacteria (prokaryotes ), there is no such a prominent nucleus as seen in animals instead the nuclear material coiled and concentrated at a region and called as nucleoid /incipient nucleus /genophore

Nuclear membrane, nucleolus,histone proteins are absent in bacteria while these are present in animals (eukaryotes )
