According to me literature shouldn't be compared with Sciences and Social Sciences as literature has parts of both in a way that appeals to the general public.
And also it is not an autobiography as autobiography covers the whole life story of the writer, "Diary of a Young Girl" is a diary collection which is more like a memoir.
