- The fifth of eight beats is known as "khali," and it marks the commencement of the second division. The performer claps on the first beat and waves the fifth beat to demonstrate the Keherwa.
- Teental is also called tintal, teentaal, or tintaal and is the most common tala in Hindustani Classical Music, and it is used for tintal's drut (fast-tempo) construction. It's so symmetrical that it may serve as a very basic rhythmic foundation for a presentation. It is played on both Tabla and Percussion instruments.
